Compassion, the value of security and building a legacy is what Nontando strives for. Nontando's love for storytelling and writing in high school motivated her to work for the Community Radio Station in Grade 11.
Starting off as a newsreader she was eventually given the responsibility of organising events and promoting artist DJ Black Coffee. After her matric, being concerned with the well-being of people and her own financial security, she decided to be a student nurse at Addington Hospital.
Nontando knew at an early age that she had to make a positive change in the world she lived in.Her hunger for change and new opportunities crept in which led her into the commerce world where she worked for Sanlam as a Clients Relations Manager giving her much experience in the business planning world. Her creative and empathetic side lived on as she worked part time with firms to write monthly newsletters and securing radio interviews. She also worked with Miss Confidence SA, a beauty pageant for disabled people, that holds workshops focussing on motivation and equipping peoplewith tools for daily challenges. This later opened doors into social development work with SABC 1. A natural nurturer, Nontando values the importance of our clients life-changing decisions of buying and selling homes.
"Having lost a parent at the age of 20, nothing could be closer to my heart than to educate (especially my own people) about the value of security and building a legacy", she says.
All of her work choices have been motivated by her own family's unique needs and the love for people.
"In real estate, I have the privilege of meeting people from all walks of life in marketing homes."
